Meet the Author
Harold J. Haughton, II
Harold is a retired educator of 37 years, He taught Special Education, beginning with four years in middle school and spending the remaining 33 years in high school. During his distinguished career, he also served as a boys’ basketball and football coach, Dean of Athletics, Athletic Facilitator, and Lead Special Education Teacher.
Harold is also a gifted musician, Gospel recording artist, and songwriter who has released music and performed under both his birth name and his stage name, HJayH (pronounced “H-Jay-H”). He is the founder of Born Down South Productions. In addition to this, he is the leader of the Men’s Ministry at Bible Gospel Center.
He counts it among his greatest joys to be a devoted husband and father.
Above all, Harold is deeply thankful for God’s love, mercy, forgiveness, and the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
